Welcome to the second oldest continuously operating bar in Phoenix, formerly Mary’s Place, The Great Escape and The Trail’s End Tavern (because Indian School turned into a dirt road at 40th Street). Sidle up to the same bartop your grandpa did back in the 50s, enjoy some classic bar games and nibble on some tasty bites, because it's all good in the wood.
It’s owl good
The iconic Little Woody logo came to us while the original building was undergoing renovations. Local, cough cough, “street artists” graffitied the owl on the north facing exterior brick wall. We took the building defacement as inspiration and ran with it… no one is going to kill our wood.

As part of the Genuine Concepts family of restaurants, The Little Woody supports the local community through the monthly Community Handle initiative, which donates a portion of sales from one local beer to one local charity, every single month.
